ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass ich mich von Folklore und Volkstanz würde hinreiße lassen können, aber die Arbeit Folk-s Will you still love me tomorrow des Italieners Alessandro Sciarroni ist nun auch kein Maibaumtanz. Er nimmt, wie ich glaube, ernst und humorvoll zugleich, das auf, was den Volkstanz überleben lässt, seine Zeitlosigkeit, sein Bestehen in der Form des Rhythmus. Im Volkstanz geht es demnach nicht um das Sehen, sondern einzig um das Hören.

Il reprend, et je crois de manière sérieuse et humoristique en même temps, ce qui fait justement survivre la danse populaire, son intemporalité, son existence dans la forme du rythme. Ce qui compte donc pour la danse folklorique n'est pas la vue, mais l'écoute.
Voilà comment il décrit lui même sa pièce. Hier ein Ausschnitt aus seiner eigenen Beschreibung des Stücks:
"In this loop of percussive actions, the introduction of anomalies and variations seems to refer directly to the iconography of religious rites, to a complex system of signs evoking festivals and martyrdom, in the presence of a new, elegant and cruel Exterminating Angel. This way, the folk and the popular, abstracted from their original sonic matrix, seem to wrestle each other until they fuse with the contemporary condition, perpetually fighting for their survival."
