Gradiva war diejenige mythologische Gestalt "die vorwärts läuft". Ihre Haltung ist durch Kontinuität geprägt, ein Fuß ist bereits vorgesetzt, der andere berührt nur mit dem großen Zeh noch den Boden. Ihr Streben ist vorwärtsgerichtet, als schwebe sie über dem Boden.

'afterthoughts'

Constant Mouvement is made out of all these little moments in between, of arriving, departing, waiting and falling, the momentum connects them, as you let it come, be and go. It is about listening to this momentum, accepting it, letting it transport you to another level, another texture of the material, playing with the time of the movement, delaying it perhaps, making it quicker or slower, but never stopping it. "TIME TIME TIME, not MATTER" as Maya Deren said.

Après "Le lac des cygnes", la chorégraphe sud-africaine Dada Masilo a choisi un autre classique du grand ballet, "Carmen", pour une nouvelle réinvention et réinterprétation moderne entre danse classique et africaine d'une des pièces les plus jouées et interprétées au monde. Première à la Biennale de la danse de Lyon de cette année.

La saison est ouverte, Tanz im August est de retour à Berlin. En ouverture vendredi l'impressionnant Crooked Man du Brésilien Edouardo Fukushima. Voici mes impressions, auf Deutsch:

zwischen stillstand und bewegung befindet sich der körper. der tanz beginnt erst wenn er endet, ebenso wie auch die bewegung im film enden muss, um wieder zu beginnen, um überhaupt erst bewegungsbild zu sein. still, intervall, schwarz, pause, ein dazwischen an bewegung ruft ein mehr an bewegung und ein stillstand ruft ein mehr an aufmerksamkeit hervor, vor dem nächsten fall, vor dem nächsten straucheln der körper, die sich jedes momentum zu nutzen machen müssen, um den fluss nicht abbrechen zu lassen.

woher das verlangen nach stillstand?

quelque part entre arrêt et mouvement se trouve le corps. la danse ne commence que quand elle s'arrête, tout comme le mouvement du film doit venir à une fin pour reprendre de nouveau, pour être image-mouvement. arrêt, intervalle, noir, pause, "l'entre" du mouvement en appelle à devenir un plus de mouvements et un arrêt appelle à un plus d'attention, avant la prochaine chute, avant le prochain tremblement des corps, qui doivent savoir utiliser à leurs avantage chaque "momentum", à fin que le l'écoulement, le flux ne s'arrêtera jamais.

wo fängt Choreographie an?

wo hört Kinematographie auf? oder ist Letzteres auch Ersteres und vice versa? die Graphie beinhalten sie beide.

où commence la chorégraphie? où s'arrête la cinématographie? ce dernier, est-ce égal au premier et vice versa? la graphie leur est propre à tous les deux.
